Registered Nurse, Midwife, SACLC, Mom: I'm Aneska Swart, a registered nurse, midwife, South African Certified Lactation Consultant and proud mother to a precious little boy. My passion lies in supporting mothers on their breastfeeding journeys.
Hospital Experience
My journey began as a midwife, where I witnessed the importance of breastfeeding support firsthand. I saw the incredible bond between mothers and their babies formed through skin-to-skin contact and nurtured by breastfeeding.

Lifelong Learner
Breastfeeding is my passion, and I am dedicated to help mothers achieve their breastfeeding journey. I completed the SACLC course in 2025 to further expand my knowledge in lactation. My goal is to empower mothers with the knowledge and confidence to breastfeed their babies.
My Breastfeeding Journey
In 2021, I embarked on my own breastfeeding journey as a mother. My son, born prematurely at 30 weeks, presented unique challenges.
Determination & Success: Despite my nursing and midwifery background, breastfeeding wasn't always easy. I persevered because I knew the benefits for both myself and my baby. My journey ultimately lasted 2 years and 3 months, a testament to the power of dedication.
Building Expertise
I completed my B.Cur Nursing degree in 2013 at the University of Potchefstoom, a post graduate diploma in paediatric feeding in 2019 and the South African Certified Lactation Consultant course in 2025.
